If I was in Parkers voting district, and I am glad that I am not, I would cast my vote for him!

While Parker has organized a federal fundraising committee and raised a modest amount of money, he hasn't filed yet for the office. (He has until March 28.) He has also set up a campaign web site, but even it makes it hard to figure out exactly what office Parker is seeking.

The email I recieved today from Parker's campaign announcing his Business Journal award ends with the following paragraph:

Sherman Thompson Parker is a Republican in his second term representing parts of St. Charles County in the Missouri House of Representatives. Representative Parker is a Congressional candidate from the 2nd district of Missouri.
