The following flier is making its way through the city. It depicts St. Louis school board president Darnetta Clinkscale as "Aunt Jemima" and newly appointed board member James Buford as "Uncle Tom".
The leaflet says it is paid for by an organization called "St. Louis for Kids Too!", but there is no such committee registered with the Missouri Ethics Commission.

I guess the "Community" wants to join the ranks of Ron Leggett and Tom Bauer in their racist propoganda.

I think the flier is both amusing and true. Things will only get better as the April election approaches.

There's nothing amusing about the Aunt Jemima caricature.
The "Uncle Tom" reference, though, is fair game, in theory; if an African American candidate is overseeing the agenda of the perceived white establishment, that's a legitimate charaacterization on a legitimate issue. In this case, though, Buford hasn't really been on the board long enough to generate a record that justifies the accusation.

I think this is a disgusting tactic, the evidence that even the creators of this flyer won't even put their names on it indicates that they know how reprehensible their tactics are.
