The Public Safety Committee of the St. Louis Board of Aldermen will be meeting today at noon to discuss Board Bills #81 and #82. The meeting is open to the public and will be in Room 230 of City Hall.
Board Bill #81, also known as "Craig's Law", has been the subject of much controversy. It calls for the seizure of vehicles for possession of certain car speakers. After voting in favor of the bill by a large majority a week prior, the Board then voted to send the bill back to committee at Friday's meeting.
Board Bill #82 also relates to the impounding of vehicles for speakers, as well as littering.
